Reclaimed lounge timber floor moved to bedroomThe flooring was originally fitted in the lounge floor of this seventeenth century cottage. We then trimmed the pitch pine floorboards down to make them all the same size and remove the woodworm on the edges. The floorboards where then fitted to woodworm treated joists fully uniformed the wood floor was then fully sanded back to the original condition as you can see from the photos.We sealed wood floor with 3 coats of a flooring oil to give a natural finish and look.We do commercial and domestic flooring any size please call for any enquires we will be only to happy to help.
Before fitting the wide plank pitch pine wood flooring the joists were treated with woodworm killer. Reclaimed flooring and floor sanding & sealing is becoming more popular in the North East and nationwide.
