Sawdust and resin repair of block parquet floor

This hardwood parquet flooring project was slightly different in that we sanded the beech parquet floor down to 80 grit finish then we mixed the saw dust with a resin we then screeded the whole parquet floor to fill all the gaps between the parquet blocks . The filler was then left to harden then resanded to leave all the gaps filled and ready for the finishing. The finish that was used on this original beech parquet floor was high build water based floor lacquer to give light and natural colour. This  floorsanding&sealing project was in the heart of Durham City.

This beech parquet floor was a bit special because of the size of parquet blocks.  The grade  of beech used was prime English beech as you see  the parquet floor is uniformed  in colour and a beautiful floor and joy to restore back to its former glory.We also do floor sanding and sealing in Sunderland, Newcastle, Teesside.
