Domestic Installation of solid oak flooring and skirting boards in Hexham, Northumberland

Details Installation of flooring for the whole of ground level including living rooms, entrance hall,  toilet, kitchen and conservatory. Floorcraft (NE) supplied oak doors, frames and skirting boards and door furniture . The project involved removing all the existing doors, frames and flooring. Note - Conservatory floor looks the same but is suitable for the seasonal extremes in room  conditions. It is an engineered board suitable for the underfloor heating system.The solid oak flooring on this project was rustic European oak plank flooring 20 mm x 140mm fitted in random lengths to give this fantastic look.

A doormat well with a mitred border is fitted as a feature on most floors.Things like this make a floor your own  this feature was made out of solid oak 70mm wide .  Between each coat of lacquer the floor was lightly sanded to give a fine key for the next coat to bond to.
